2020 Hamilton County Recycling and Solid Waste District Waste Reduction Innovation Grant

This grant program helps communities, schools, non-profit organizations, and private sector businesses implement waste reduction, reuse, food rescue, composting, and recycling programs that significantly reduce waste in Hamilton County, Ohio.

Proposals will be considered for funding as they are received. Approved proposals will be funded on a first come, first served basis. The District will accept proposals until October 16, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. or until funding runs out, whichever happens first. Applicants are required to provide minimum 25% matching funds and may request a maximum of $10,000 in grant funds.

The initiative offers assistance to reduce pre-consumer food waste and/or donate prepared foods from at mid- to high-volume food service operators in Hamilton County. See details here.

NEW Ohio EPA Recycling and Litter Prevention Grant Opportunities for Schools

Academic Institution Grant
Public and private K-12 schools, colleges, and universities may receive funding for recycling efforts as well as outreach and education, recycling equipment, and conference sponsorships. Grantees have 12 months to complete the project.
