Multi-Family Recycling Program

Untitled document

Condominium associations, property managers, and those living in an apartment, condo, or other multi-family dwelling can receive free assistance from the District to start a recycling program. The District works with your waste hauler to coordinate the easiest and most efficient recycling plan for your property and pays for the first six months of the recycling contract if you agree to pay for the next 18 months - a two-year commitment in total.

Interested in hearing how others achieved success? Read about a few of the multi-family recycling programs in effect in Hamilton County.

You receive:

  • A consultation meeting and a customized recycling plan
  • Coordination of recycling services with your waste hauler
  • First six months of your recycling contract paid
  • Education about recycling for residents

For more information or to determine if your property is eligible, contact Cher Mohring at 513-946-7737.

Recycling can save you money! Property managers often reduce their total solid waste management costs if residents recycle enough material to decrease the trash container size or collection frequency. This is because many haulers collect recycling at a lower cost than collection and disposal of an equal volume of trash.
